NILESH LALBHAI SHAH


Nilesh Lalbhai Shah, the younger brother of Jitendrakumar Lalbhai, joined the group in 1970 and started the yarn marketing activity of JKL in the domestic market. He has been at the forefront of JKL’s success in the local power and the auto loom segment as well as the knits segment. He holds the monopoly of yarn sales of Asarwa Mills for Ahmedabad market.

From yarn, he has also taken the group into knitted fabric marketing business and it is because of his strong grip on knitted fabric marketing that the group invested into a greenfield knitting facility of 250 tons per month and he oversees the complete sales for this facility. He is on the board of the Ahmedabad Yarn Association and takes a keen interest in various issues which arise in yarn business and works towards the overall growth of the community.

His hobbies include walking, singing, playing cricket and listening to old music.

GAURANG BHAGAT


Established in the cloth trading business since last 50 years working from fabric indenting/commission agent to wholesaling and now today to heading one of the biggest weaving facilities of Ahmedabad is Mr. Gaurang Bhagat. He oversees liasoning of the group with different government bodies and is involved in the political front as a strong BJP supporter. Apart from this, his single biggest achievement has been his position as the President of the Maskati Market Kapad Mahajan where he devotes most of his time selflessly and has been accredited with recoveries of more than Rs100 crore done under arbitration by the Mahajan for various cloth merchants. This has been rewarded to him by being nominated as the President of the Maskati Market Kapad Mahajan for the third time unanimously. A sole believer in walking the path of honesty and neutrality he has grown to be an active part in various textile and educational fronts focused on the social cause as well as ethical societal plus business decorum. He holds various important positions such as:

  • President of Maskati Market Kapad Mahajan

RAHUL JITENDRA SHAH


Rahul Jitendra joined the LP Group in 1995 entering the domestic yarn marketing business and formed Acme International Ltd setting the pace for the group’s exports. He has been the catalyst in transforming the group from one company business to multiple businesses in different verticals from marketing to trading to manufacturing and retail. A graduate in B.Com and a Postgraduate in Business Management, he also holds an International Business Management degree. His strengths include sighting potential business opportunities and converting them into profitable business verticals, settling them and moving further. His profile includes directing all aspects of the groups various businesses including financial performances, strategic business plans and creating and developing a team of professional employees to take the businesses forward keeping intact the group’s core values and instilling within the team the motivation and passion for performance. Multilingual in English, Hindi and Gujarati he focuses on enhancing the group’s corporate image and improving customer service. His belief that “business follows relationships”, “under-promise and over-deliver” and “create a joyous working environment” have stemmed the current vision statements of the group. Called as the “heart and soul” of the group by the LP team he is also the “face” of the group to the investors/bankers. His interest includes reading business magazines, swimming, billiards and watching movies.

MD - ACME COTSYN

DAHYABHAI PATEL


Mr. Dahyabhai Patel has a Pre-Science degree from Lallubhai Hakamchand Shah University, Mansa. He started his own business as a grey fabric agent into marketing and sales of grey fabric getting a grip on sales of woven fabric to Ahmedabad process houses which he has continued till date. With his expertise in fabric sales, he started his own manufacturing of grey fabric on power looms and Ruti B machines under the name of Omakara Enterprise establishing 108 machines which worked till 2002. With the advent of modern technology in weaving, he partnered with the JKL Family to set up 25 Picanol Rapier Machines under the aegis of Acme Cotsyn Pvt Ltd. With time he has been instrumental to expand the capacity of Acme Cotsyn which currently has 30 air jet and 42 Rapier machines manufacturing about 6 lakh meters of woven fabric per month. He is a very active social person taking a keen interest in the social welfare of their community. Apart from being an important part of the group he is also:

  • A partner in a construction business, Madhav Builders for more than 25 years
  • Director in Vijay Co-operative Bank, Ahmedabad
  • Vice president of the religious community – Patidar

SHALIN NILESH SHAH

Shalin Shah joined the LP Group in 2001 with the aim to expand export business under Acme International Ltd. & open new markets. He successfully developed new markets in Singapore, Philippines, Egypt, Srilanka, Turkey, Israel & marked Acme’s strong presence there. Looking at the exponential growth potential in the Domestic market, in 2005 he took charge to lead the Parent company Jitendrakumar Lalbhai & Co. & be Numero Uno in its segment. His passion to make JKLCO amongst the top performing companies within the Group, as well as one of the leading Indenting company in India, clearly reflects where JKL stands today. Being a B com graduate he possesses Post Graduate degree in Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Cardiff University, UK. His profile includes directing JKLCO towards its growth targets, developing new product lines, principals & customers as well as building a strong professional team & motivates them to achieve targets without compromising on core values of the Group. Considering IT as the backbone of the Group he is actively involved in technological advancements within the group to enhance efficiency & edge out the competition. Multilingual in English, Hindi & Gujarati he focuses on enriching customer / principal experience by providing services like no other and is their preferred partner. His active interest in Fashion & Designing has led to building up Brand EERA for Women Bottom Wear as well as forward integration of the group by making a foray in Garment manufacturing to increase product basket in retail.

His Never to give up attitude & love for Altitude professionally & personally has proudly flagged LP Group & its brands at a height of 5364 meters. A gadget geek who is adventurous
and Explorer by nature he likes Photography, Hiking, Music & Travelling.

SWAPNIL SHAH


Swapnil Shah joined Acme Housewares India Pvt Ltd. In 2013, taking over the housewares division which was established in 2001. With a penchant for finished products and brands, he relaunched the group’s flagship brand “Casa Copenhagen” in 2014 and launched the group’s entry into the online marketing space. Establishing the brands presence in India he moved ahead and has been responsible for setting up the overseas online sales with the setup of Casa Copenhagen offices/warehouses in the USA, Canada and UK. Moving forward he has played a key role in broadening the brands stable of the LP Group relaunching old brands like “Sofie & Sam” , “Kitchen Kemistry” , “Cocktails & Dreams” and new brands like “Beau” and “Norman JR” and bringing new products both in hard goods and soft goods within the foray of the different brands. He also played an important role in digitalizing the LBTex factory and has headed the new expansion of 102 Airjets for denim weaving overseeing the project and its operations. An MBA in marketing from the Nirma University, Ahmedabad his undivided attention over the company’s’ worldwide sales and operations as well as the end to end management of supply chain in all the markets and countries have bolstered the brands image in the online segment. He has been responsible for bringing the group into the brands business and the launch of all its major brands.

JAY BHAGAT


Mr. Jay Bhagat joined LB Tex at its inception in 2017 when the group partnered with the Bhagat Family to set up the most modern and large weaving installation under a buy-back arrangement with Arvind. His passion and enthusiasm have resulted in the setup of 204 Picanol Airjets under LBTex which is one of the biggest installations of standalone weaving unit in western India in the shortest span of time producing more than 1,00,000 meters per day. His major interest lies in getting to the core of all business aspects which has helped him execute multiple governments’ tenders of school uniforms, army uniforms for Gujarat police / Indian Military and state transport. Someone who believes it is critical to understand any product/process to the core his interest in doing so has helped the company execute many new developments resulting in cost efficiencies. He has deep knowledge plus experience of the complete chain of production from yarn to garments. While being actively involved in the day to day activities of LB Tex his thirst for growth and his forward vision are making him look at new horizons in the finished fabric which the company looks to pursue.

He believes that “Success is not final, failure is not fatal, “it is the courage to continue that counts”. He is a strong advocate of the belief that “size matters” and has always advocated for putting up world-class facilities with high volumes.

He loves a good game of snooker along with socializing and traveling.

ANOUSHKA RAHUL SHAH

Anoushka Rahul Shah joined the LP Group from 2019-2022 as a retail trainee and full time in 2023. She created an online presence for My Casa Copenhagen and expanded its reach through digital platforms. She is currently working in Acme International Ltd. She has conducted various CSR activities for the firm which include tree plantations, charity drives and blood donation camps.
She completed her BBA from Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University and Masters in Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Her hobbies include reading and writing. She is a state level badminton player and also an avid lover of animals.
